To coincide with our participation at the ILM (independent Label market) on November 28th

Public Pressure Records is launching a competition opened to all aspiring writers / A&R / anyone wishing to be involved in the music Industry and serious music fans.

Competition opens on  20th November 2015 and ends on January 15th 2016. Winner announced By February 1st 1016.  Read full terms and conditions at the bottom of this page.

It’s simple:

Do you think you’d be really good at spotting amazing new talent? Think you know the best new bands, an expert on the underground music scene (any genre)? Spot them before anyone else? Then we want to hear your suggestions. We really do!

THE PRIZE

Recommend your favourite underground band / artist to us and the Winner will be involved in writing an article about them on Public Pressure Magazine.

(you could either write the entire piece or do the band interview depending on your skills and what you’d like to do)

We will feature you as a our A&R competition winner on our home page as well as build your profile page on Publicpressure.org and interview you.

If you enjoy the experience, we may offer you to contribute as a regular writer for Public Pressure.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Enter up to 5 times (no more than 5 recommendations per person).
  2. Public Pressure editors have final say on articles being published on the website.
  3. Public Pressure Editors will decide which involvement in the writing of the article about the chosen band(s) the Winner(s) will have. It may be part writing the article, writing it in full, interviewing the band.
  4. We may choose more than 1 winner.
  5. There is no financial reward or compensation for winning the competition or writing the article. This would be done on an unpaid contribution basis.
