Gigantic, that’s what this compilation is to us. Only John Clay from Clark Kent’s Rock And Roll Revue and Puss Johnson could have brought together such a legendary lineup for a single compilation tape.

Clark Kent:
PUSSYCAT AND THE DIRTY JOHNSONS / ARROWS OF LOVE / LAZYBONES / NOISE NOIR / HEALTHY JUNKIES / THE WIDOWS / MUMMY

Puss Johnson:
NOVA TWINS / HOTDOGGRRRL AND THE SESAME BUNS / HATEPENNY / HEIRLOOM / POLLYPIKPOCKETZ / ANARCHISTWOOD / ATOMIC SUPLEX

And this is just the beginning. In fact, John Clay is already setting up the next cassette. Working together with his YouTube channel, Clark Kent’s Rock And Roll Revue is becoming one the most influential alternative music networks in London and we are proud to be involved.

As with all Public Pressure compilations, we want to change the financial dynamics, bringing money from upcoming youth and culture brands, like London Happening, into the subculture. We believe they are the new patrons. And when we asked them to believe in our project, they did.

Like you, the team at Public Pressure and our other supporters, they understand the challenges facing artists in the streaming generation, where music is just a commodity.

Cassette tapes have become a viable choice, both creatively and financially, for artists that want to leave a sign of their art. An object that can survive the ephemeral digital world.
