After a string of successes, UK hardcore band Departures recently released an impressive third album, entitled Death Touches Us, From The Moment We Begin To Love. The band have previously toured Japan and been handpicked to support Modern Life Is War and American Nightmare, as well as playing shows and tours with the likes of Your Demise, Moose Blood, More Than Life, Funeral For A Friend, Shai Hulud, Stick To Your Guns, Balance & Composure, Seahaven, Pianos Become The Teeth and many more.

Death Touches Us, From The Moment We Begin To Love is an intense and formidable mix of high-energy alternative/indie and emotional post-hardcore, which will not leave fans disappointed. Departures, who are known for not being a ‘careerist’ band, create a cathartic experience for both band and listener, writing music and playing live when the need calls, rather than being part of the ‘big industry game’. Instead, Departures success and achievements to date have been won the old-fashioned way – simply through making awesome music. You can check out the new album here.
