To celebrate ten years of High Focus Records, The Four Owls have swooped across the pond and collected features from US heavyweight’s RA Rugged Man, Roc Marciano, Kool G Rap and the one and only Masta Killa. The calibre of emcees and producers on this release demonstrates just how highly The Four Owls are thought of across the globe.

Leaf Dog, or Deformed Wing, holds down the beats for the best part of the album, with BVA’s return to the mic a very welcome one- ‘Coming Home’ would be a favourite if I had to pick one. Still, all 14 simile-stricken tracks have that nostalgic yet box-fresh kick to them.

‘Nocturnal Instinct’ is out on April 17th and includes early release singles ‘Honour Codes’, ‘Sound the Alarm (ft. Smellington Piff)’ and their second track with iconic beatmaker DJ Premier, ‘100%’.
