Damn good songwriting backed by some of the best production that Nathan Ridley has ever produced, SPQR are a welcome addition to this season of Margo’s Living Room. The vocals have an urgent and androgynous quality to them and the rhythm section makes this Liverpudlian band a worthy adage to ever-growing label Modern Sky a powerful one.
